Epically Me | Orlando Boudoir Photographer
I am completely in love with the shoot process. I walked in and I had my hair up on a bun, I had no makeup on, I was feeling about as blah as I could. But they set me down, they welcomed me, they did my hair and makeup, and it was fantastic.
I did an up-do, and it was epically amazing. When she turned me around after finishing my hair and makeup and I looked in the mirror, I started crying. I had never felt as beautiful as what I was, and then when I put on the lingerie and I started doing the photos, I realized that the hair and the makeup weren't the beauty. I was the beauty. How I felt and how I smiled, and how I put myself out there is what made it amazing.
I very unintentionally went outside my comfort zone because I've never worn a thong. When I ordered my lingerie, I ordered this nice blush mesh short sleeved bralett with a pair of matching underwear, not realizing the underwear was a thong. That "mistake" I made ended up being one of my favorite photos because I looked AMAZING. I had my butt poppin' out, she had me laughing while she was taking the photos, and you can see the joy on my face as we laughed through every single photo. It was fantastic!
But for me, my mission for doing this was finding beauty in my body. Finding beauty where I am in my life and where I am with my weight loss and my goals. And looking at my photos, every single photo she had, I looked at the smile on my face or the way my hair looked, or the freckles you could see in the black and white photos, and I looked at her at one point and said "for me this is amazing, because every single photo I take, I always nitpick. I narrow in on my stomach looking too big, or my boobs being out, or my arm fat." I never once did that in any of the photos she took for me. And that, for me, was amazing. That's why I want every girl who wants to find beauty in themselves to do this. They deserve the same feeling and it truly changes the way you look at yourself!
