When this amazing person stepped into our Lovely in Lace lives, we had no idea just what we were in for. 

Like many of our lovelies, she was doing this as a special gift for herself. Sure, her hubby reaped some of the benefits by getting to oogle at these photos afterwards, but this was a 45th birthday present for her and no one else! And let me tell you...she WOWED us! The outfits she brought were to die for, and many of them were pieced together by completely random outfits in her closet. 

She specifically wanted to focus more on the dark, moody photos while still incorporating some fun, flirtatious looks. It was a great opportunity for us to do something different than our norm, which let's be honest...what photographer doesn't love that?! It forces us as artists to step outside of OUR comfort zone too, and I am so happy with how it all turned out! 

We're so appreciative that she allowed us to use some of her images to share with you all. Aside from the fact that I love sharing any photos our clients give us permission to use, I especially loved this because of her reason (45th birthday...woooo!), and because of how much creativity she brought as far as her outfits go. 

Girls...step outside of your comfort zone. Do something for YOU. And while you're at it..be extra bold by bringing at least one piece that you just throw together from your existing wardrobe! :)
