A Present for you, a Present for me
The lovely C. came in for what she thought was going to be a gift for her partner. It turned out to be a gift for the both of them. Read along for how C. enjoyed her session!
-What made you book a boudoir session?
It started out as a present for my husband, but it honestly turned into a present for me.
-How did you feel coming into the studio?
Surprisingly, I was relaxed. I am naturally an introverted person who doesn’t enjoy having my photos taken. I realized through this process that I haven’t really ever wanted photos done because I didn’t feel like I could be “pretty” enough. Past family photos were always challenging because I didn’t like my hair, my makeup, my poses, or something. Always something off putting.
-How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?
It was so peaceful, and fun! The makeup/hair artist was very interested in how I wanted to look. I said natural, and that’s exactly what she did. When I looked in the mirror, it was absolutely me…just more put together than I give myself time for at home. Honestly, the idea of having to wear skimpy outfits in front of someone other than my husband made me nervous when I initially booked, but I had watched Sivan’s site for a year and saw that there were so many types of beautiful outfits that if I didn’t feel comfortable with something, there were so many other ways to have amazing photos. As soon as I came to that level, I started getting braver about what I was willing to do. In the end, I had some pretty 🤩 photos in some very fun pieces.
-How did you feel after your session?
It has been a month and I am still in awe of my photos. From the comfy, cozy to the hot, naughty photos…each of them inspire me to have the confidence I did that day. I can see me, in my best light whenever I look at them. And again, it looks like me. Not hyper edited, air brushed, over made up…just me.
-How do you feel now after seeing your final images?
I love them. I love having something that reminds me I am more than mom, employee, wife, keeper of the plans, and organizer of all the things. I am beautiful and strong.
-If you already have your product(s), what do you think of them?
Picking up Monday…so excited
-Anything you'd like to say to other women who are hesitating to do this for XYZ reason?
It’s worth it. Financially, time of planning for the session, whatever your hesitation is, it is worth putting it aside to do this. Sure…for him, but really, for you. You deserve to have a cheerleading session that is all about building you up for the day. Those few hours where Sivan gets to talk to you is the best. Having someone in your corner to boost your spirit, confidence, and joy is just amazing.
xoxo
