Ways to Calm Your Nerves Before a Session

Having a boudoir session for some can feel kind of nerve wracking. Some people experience nerves days and sometimes weeks before the session. There are things that can help alleviate these feelings, and we are super excited to share those with you!

  1. Make sure you feel confident with your photographer. Are you in love with their work? Have you had a conversation with them about what your vision is? If you are really nervous about posing, ensure your photographer is confident in guiding you. Your photographer should make you feel comfortable and confident in them.

2. Do things that make you feel like your best you! Eat foods that nourish your body, and stay hydrated! Stay on top of your skin care and sleep routine.

3. Wear what makes you feel good! If that means bringing your favorite sweater, then that’s okay. We encourage you to express yourself through your wardrobe!

4. Find inspiration. Take some time looking at boudoir photography, especially your photographer’s work. This gives you a chance to pick out some of your favorite poses. And rest-assured that we will put you in poses that work incredibly well for you!
