Glowing with Confidence | Orlando Boudoir Photography
The Lovely H. spent the day at Studio Luxe with Kelsey. Like most of our clients, she was nervous before her boudoir session, but she trusted the process and our team! The outcome is stunning! See what she said about her day in our boudoir studio!
What made you book a boudoir session?
I had gone back and forth for a few years about doing a boudoir session, but I had a lot of self-doubts. I will be turning 40 in a couple weeks, and in January of this year I realized that I need to stop living my life in fear of other people's reactions and start doing things for ME! This year has been full of saying "yes" when I would've usually said "no" and I feel so much more confident and happy. This session let me see myself in a totally new light and makes me feel amazing.
How did you feel coming into the studio?
I was pretty nervous the day before and in the morning when I woke up- I mean, I was about to let some stranger see me in some very tiny outfits! I am not kidding though when I say that the minute I got into the studio and sat down in the make-up chair, I was totally at ease. I cannot stress enough how sweet and chill the girls working were with me and how excited they were getting when they were looking at my outfits made me feel excited too and my nerves melted away.
How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?
At first it was a little awkward to pose in ways I wouldn't just lay around the house, but it got easier after only a few shots. Once the camera was turned around, I could hardly believe it was me! The girl in the pictures looks so confident and sexy, but it was ME!
How did you feel after your session?
When I left that day my husband and I went to lunch and he said I was glowing with confidence. I felt so proud of myself for pushing myself out of my comfort zone and just going for it. It was a big step for me having grown up with very little self-esteem.
How do you feel now after seeing your final images?
I still can't believe it's me sometimes, but I absolutely LOVE them! Every time I look at the canvas hanging near my vanity I just feel proud and happy all over again- it is a daily reminder that I am more than enough and I can do anything.
