Getting Me "Back" | Orlando Boudoir Photographer

Tell us your story, a little bit about you and what led you to do a boudoir session?

I'm a mom, wife and full time employee. Making time for myself was not a priority, my family was. When we found out we were pregnant in 2009 we were over the moon! Our entire "being" was about making sure our little bun was taken care of. I took amazing care of myself and my little growing baby. When he was born with special needs, our world changed.

It was no longer about my husband and me, it was out our baby boy. The next 8 years my focus was solely on my son. The baby weight would have to wait. It was in 2018 when I saw this totally inspiring Facebook group about women, just like me, looking amazing!! I was getting my life back and starting to feel amazing. I signed up for session with Sivan to capture this amazing time in my life.

I had lost some weight and my son was doing great!! He has overcome so many things the doctors said he wouldn't. So it was time to celebrate! I booked my first session and was ready for a day of pampering! It was the best decision I ever made!! I felt so beautiful! It captured all that I have overcome and made me LOVE ME again! I gifted the book to my husband for his birthday! He almost cried! He had his wife "back". He saw my smile! A real genuine smile!!!

This boudoir session brought me so much joy, that I couldn't wait to book my next one!! Waited three months and set up my second session and it was all FOR ME!!! I had so much fun! Sivan helped me find myself again! And I have the pictures to remember it forever!! My next session, yep my 3rd, will be in January 2019!

Any advice you'd like to give your fellow Lovelies on doing a session and how it could be helpful?

Ladies, do this! Do it for you!! Find that inner beauty that you know is there! It ranks up there as one of the best things I have ever done. Us ladies work so hard making sure everyone else is taken care of, we tend to forget about ourselves. You will not regret this decision! This quote sums it all up: "If it's both terrifying and amazing, then you should definitely pursue it".
