It’s so common for women to not view themselves as the beautiful beings that they are. At Lovely in Lace, we strive to make that a thing of the past. The Lovely B. realized how stunning she was during her boudoir session and now looks forward to seeing herself in that new light everyday!

What made you book a boudoir session?

Two reasons:

1. I really wanted to go outside my comfort zone to gift him something different for our ten wedding anniversary. After ten years, two kids I thought it was something different and nice

2. I wanted to be able to see myself in a different light and how someone else sees me. I have horrible self esteem and body image. I wanted to see myself in a more positive light. I literally look at them all the time now and can’t believe it’s me.

How did you feel coming into the studio?

I felt really nervous and scared I wouldn’t be able to take or attempt the positions. I never thought she would be able to photograph me the way she did so wonderfully with other women.

How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?

I felt so comfortable. I think what made me so comfortable to begin with was how nice Sivan and the lady who did my makeup was. They didn’t really make a big deal too when I came out half naked. They just made it feel like it was normal. Then I saw some of the photos and was completely flabbergasted. I had never seen myself like that before.

How did you feel after your session?

I went in with the mindset I was doing this for my husband first and foremost but left really glad I did it for me. I just wish I could hang them all of my house.

How do you feel now after seeing your final images?

I was amazed. I just kept saying “oh my goodness” that’s me. And what really surprised me was that I like my photos in color. I think a lot of the times we use black and white to cover up things we don’t like, to hide even more flaws. But they way she captured me in color was breath taking.

If you already have your product(s), what do you think of them?

They are way better than I ever expected them to be.

Anything you'd like to say to other women who are hesitating to do this for XYZ reason?

Don’t not do it because you think you’ll look bad, because trust that you won’t. Sivan is the best at what she does and it’s so worth the experience to see yourself in a way you may have never seen before.

You have at least one reason to do this, because you absolutely deserve it! Do you have two?
