The Lovely L. waited 10 years to do her boudoir session! Read on to see how she made every moment count during her session, and why she already wants to do another one!
Beauty to Bombshell!
What made you book a boudoir session?
I have been wanting to do one for a long time, at least 10 years. I always knew I wanted to do one as a gift to my future husband, once I found him and got engaged, I booked my session right after the venue.
How did you feel coming into the studio?
I felt excited. I had been wanting to do this for so long and done A LOT of research finding the right photographer for me. Seeing the amazing beautiful women Sivan captures really eased any anxiety I would normally have. Her prep emails leading up to the shoot, at first seem like a lot, but she knows her stuff and is 100000% setting her clients up for success. Which again eased any nervousness because I was fully confident I was in good hands.
How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?
I was shocked, could not believe that was me. She quickly learned all my angles and her direction and attention to detail were so comforting, I knew she had a vision. Even when I felt awkward (let's be real to get some of these amazing photos, your not gonna be posing comfortably) She was very complimentary, excited and supportive.
How did you feel after your session?
I felt great, so beautiful! And after the shower set up, I felt like Darryl Hannah in Splash. I was so excited to see the finished work. I knew I was going to have a hard time narrowing down to fit my package.
How do you feel now after seeing your final images?
I can't stop looking at them. My husband LOVES them. I am so excited to share them with my girlfriends trying to encourage them to do a session. I'm so proud of them and Alan and I both agree I will need to plan another session.
Anything you'd like to say to other women who are hesitating to do this for XYZ reason?
I was always concerned about my weight. It has always been a struggle my entire life. I had been working hard to lose weight for the wedding and even though I am still 100lbs away from where I would love to be. I was at complete peace knowing Sivan would help me see myself how my husband sees me, beautiful, sexy, confident, regardless of my size. So in a nutshell, do it. Not for any one but yourself. You will LOVE yourself.
