I adore my girls. When I say “adore,” I mean ADORE. They have become my tribe, my extended family, my cheerleaders. And I get to be their cheerleader, too. I love getting to know each and every one of them. By the end of their session, we start telling each other so many personal things and really open up to one another. Life stories, happy times, sad times, and everything in-between. I couldn’t be more in love with that I get to do for a living! I feel like I not only get to be part of changing their lives, but they get to be part of changing mine as well.
The Lovely C. recently came in for her first (2nd one is coming up soon!) boudoir session, and I am beyond excited to share some of her images with you all! I’ve asked her to share a little about herself since she has such a special message to share.
I am a wife, a mother and a full time employee. My life can get bit hectic! This year, I've decided to #doitafraid, and start taking my life back! The first thing, my health. I've lost 60 lbs and I was ready to embrace this new body. What better way then with a Boudoir session! Almost 9 years ago, our lives were turned upside down. Our son was born very sick, and as a result was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. For the next 3 years specialists, doctors and hospital stays was all we knew. There wasn't a lot of time to focus on myself, my marriage or my health. We took the "back burner" as our sons health was way more important. I am happy to say that he is a happy functioning not so little (anymore) guy with a great future ahead of him!! So now, it's time for momma! This session caputred so many things about me. My smile, which I have a hard time hiding, my new body, but most importantly, my new found CONFIDENCE!!! This was honestly one of the best days of my life, and I can't wait to do it again in April. This session was for ME, but will be gifted to my husband for his birthday in February. Time to bring some sexy back into our relationship.
